First Time using Low G string

I replaced the High G string on my Ohana Concert Ukelele in November with the LaBella Uke Pro Low G string. It sounds great and adds a fuller tone to my uke.

Replaced a Solid Fluorocarbon

Placed a solid FC low G on a Koaloha concert and it just didn't sound right. Too loud and thumpy. This low G brought back more balance and sustain to the entire stringset. I've become fan of LaBella strings through my Romero Creation ukes

Excellent Low G String for My Concert Ukulele

The La Bella 100-G Uke-Pro String is an excellent string for my Kamaka Concert Ukulele. The string delivers a warm, beautiful sound. Q: I recently purchased a La Bella polished/wound string for a low G tenor. It has minimal string noise. Is there a similar polished/wound string for a ‘D’ fourth string for a baritone ukulele? The D’Addario titanium set that came with the instrument has very noisy wound strings. It’s the main reason I have not used wound strings.
