phd high D strings

Colored tips insure the proper application, a helpful tip. The strings sound bright and cheerful and have a long sustain. When the bottom string is “slacked” down to D, the chords sound musically Hawaiian.

Moved on...

Trying out Fremont sets now and Martin’s. The PhD clear strings are too thick. I think Fremont Black sets are working best on my baritone tenors. But check with me in a few months, I tend to move around with my string selections.
