D'Addario EJ44LP Composite Lightly Polished Classical Guitar Strings LCX-3B - Extra Hard Tension, Bass Set
This set of 3 bass strings for classical guiat (E, A, D) features silverplated copper wound on a Zyex(R) multi-filament stranded core.
Note: The technique of polishing takes away the silver plating slightly exposing the copper wire. As a result, the color may vary from silver to brown to gray.

Great for fretless Guitar.

These are great strings for fretless guitar. Good projection and tone with minimal noise when sliding.

They were exactly what I

They were exactly what I needed. I keep a low action and play at A392. I was getting some buzzing in the bass. These strings eliminated that.

Quiet!

These are nice strings, with good tuning stability, long life and true harmonics, but I buy them because they cut down on squeaks. I play jazz and I like to slide into notes, but I hate to hear that chirp. Yes, I know that good technique can minimize the problem, but these strings go a long way by themselves (and without killing the tone).
