Philippe Bosset Mandolin Strings, 80/20 Soft Brass, Loop End 10-38

I have been looking for the perfect strings for my A-oval, and these are it! Clear, bell-like tone, brings out the best in the mandolin.

In the last year I set out to try some new brands of mandolin strings, just to see what was out there that I was missing. I don't know what "soft brass" means, but there is definitely something special about the manufacturing process Bosset uses. These strings stay in tune, play easily, and have a bright tone. I play OT and Celtic on a vintage Gibson A model and these strings give it a richer and more pleasing tone I've never heard from it before. I've only had them on a month, but I'm impressed so far.
