Pyramid Pure Nickel Hand Wound Electric Guitar Med/Special 11-50

These strings are my favorite for semi-hollow and hollowbody guitars. They sound very different, and for some they may take a bit of getting used to, but after a while of playing these I doubt if you will go back.

I saw someone complain that they sounded dead after a few days. Nope, not if you clean them, in fact I have had a set of these on one of my guitars for over a year and they still sound like the day I bought them. So, don't make up your mind so quickly, give them some time!

I've been using 10-46 on my Les Paul for a long time and bought these 11-50 strings to see how they would sound and feel. I though the tension would be quite stiff considering the difference in gauge. I'm very surprised by how slinky they feel, they sound punchier and meatier. I'm top wrapping my strings and perhaps that has some impact on how they feel - regardless, this is my new choice for strings. Last a long time and sounds great.
