The Max Performance strings sound
Review by Richard A. on 23 Aug 2026 review stating The Max Performance strings sound The Max Performance strings sound great, but they are on the stiff side due to the hex core. I was trying these in comparison to the Nickel Classics which have a round core and are definitely more flexible. One very nice touch on the Max Performance strings is the silk winding. I wish they would add that to the Nickel Classics.
