Have found I like the tone of wound G & B strings. The unwound G in particular I find lifeless.

My favorite strings for flamenco.

It's been my experience that cedar top guitars lose their
warmth as the decades go by and develop a harder
sound, especially in the trebles. Savarez wound trebles
go a long way in correcting this.
