These strings allowed me to get the gcea tuning on my baritone, which fits me a little better and is more comfortable. At first I didn't really like the sound but after they get broke in a little I like them a lot. They are very bright! It feels like the tension is high but they didn't break and I have been using these for about 6 months, roughly. I like them.

Q: Why can I not find the baritone GCEA string set with a low G string? Can I buy a single? I don't want to buy a DGBE set just to get a G string. I don't like re-entrant tuning. so low G my choice. Oh, if i buy more than one set of strings is the shipping combined?

The easiest solution is probably to buy a single string from this page-

Either the NYL028W or the NYL029W should work fine as a low G string. Our shipping fee is $3.95 flat rate whether you purchase one string or fifty sets of strings.
