Oasis low-G vs Worth Clear low-G
Review by Brian S. on 1 Sep 2023 review stating Oasis low-G vs Worth Clear low-G Installed on Magic Fluke koa tenor uke. I play primarily finger-style classical, jazz bossa style. So, my comments are relative to these factors, as well as my subjective impressions and skill level. I had previously installed a set of Worth Clear strings with a low-G but wasn't happy with the sound of the low-G. I purchased the Oasis wound low-G to try to get a better sound. The Oasis low-G sounded better (to my ears), with a fatter sound, and greater volume than the Worth fluorocarbon low-G.
But, I felt the Oasis didn't deliver much more punch, projection or sustain than the Worth low-G.
