Q: Are these steel strings usable on most soprano ukuleles, or is special reinforcement required? I've read that steel strings have tension too high for ukuleles.

A: You shouldn't have to make any major adjustments possibly some minor neck adjustments. These should work fine otherwise

A: Hello Tammy,
Generally silk and steel strings have a longer settle in period than non silk wrapped core strings. Dogal strings are of high quality materials and with a steel core should have good tuning ability once settled in. Settle in period should be relatively short.
