EDQ 34. 0 -- Needs a Bit More Tension in the Bass Strings and a Carbon 3g String

After trying the Erithacus EDQ 34. 0 set on a 630 mm scale length classical guitar, I found that the tone and feel could benefit from a bit more tension in the bass strings and a substitution of the nylon 3g string with a carbon 3g string. Fortunately, Knobloch makes it easy to achieve this, as they sell separate bass sets and individual treble strings.

Quality strings

Warm sounding and homogeneous as described.
I usually play with a carbon 3rd string, the nylon 3rd in this set took a bit of getting used to - when the melody of a piece would move to that string the lower tension was very noticeable. But very happy with the overall sound of these strings.
