Martin M625 Premium Polygut Ukulele Strings, Tenor

I have a mahogany concert uke and a limited edition sinker mahogany tenor, both Martins. I have tried many different strings and nothing brings out the sound of these like Martin strings. I do have to swap out another brand for a low G, but found a Fremont low G string that fits well with the set. Interestingly, these strings do not sound great on my other 3 custom ukes from different luthiers. For those I use a mixed customer concoction set. As usual, the service from Stringsbymail is terrific.

I use these on my Kala SMH-T. I like the way they sound on this ukulele more than the sound of fluorocarbon strings. They have much of the warmth of nylon strings but are less temperature sensitive.

I was recommended to this site by a friend. I got the strings much sooner than I excepted them. The price was right, and the shipping not too bad.

Seem to be a higher grade material & a softer feel then the regular Martin Ukulele strings. Much better feel IMHO and good sound. I like them.

They seem to have a softer touch for my old fingers! Love the sound! They to tend to slip on bridge consider double knotting bridge.
