D'Addario Ukulele Strings EJ65C Concert Ukulele Clear Nylon

I was inpressed by the tone and clarity of these strings. I play a concert sized ukulele, and this set of strings provides more power to my tone. Note the C string was a little thicker than the Nylagut strings I used to use, so I did have to (carefully) widen the nut slot for this string.

I love them on my soprano ukulele. I also appreciate the help I received in choosing strings.

I put these strings on a Martin Centennial Concert ukulele. These clear nylon strings offer a different sound than fleurocarbon ones. They are less "jangly" and have a more folks sounding tone. Slightly thicker than fleurocarbon and about the same thickness as D'addario Nyltech.
Finding the right strings depends on the ukulele. I feel that D'addario offers a whole palate of sets and you can see which you enjoy most on any individual ukulele. I also feel that the short sentence on each package is a great guide to the kind of sound that you will get. " warm, projecting acoustic tone" is on this package. Yup!
