Pyramid Acoustic Guitar Strings Hand-Polished Light 12-54

These are my go to string now, mainly because of the round core.

BUT. . . the last four sets I’ve bought have been corroded, have a slight patina on them(that wears off in a few days).

Luckily I like a dead string.

These strings aren’t sealed in anything other than paper and I get that the strings could sit in a warehouse for a while.

I’m just wondering if I buy the hand polished which are the more expensive string, will they have been sitting in a warehouse longer than the unpolished string because they move faster than the expensive polished string? Dunno.
Hopefully I get a fresh set soon.

I have purchased 10 sets of these strings thinking that it would save me some money in the next few years. However, some of the strings are rusted from the very beginning. ( I opened two sets now, one set is rusted and the string lose its brightness in two weeks) It is a GOOD sounding strings and it gave you a balanced sound on both of my om guitar and piccolo guitar. If the set is mint when it is opened, it maybe the case that it will sustain a longer period

I bought these expecting that someday the last set might lose their brilliance. It’s not happening. Get this, the higher price German strings have lowered my string costs. Are you listening??
