Favorites

These suit me and my playing better than any others I've played; I play mostly Brazilian music, including samba, bossa nova, choro and also jazz standards. Also, I play with pads of the fingers, not nails so the quite thick and stiff rectified trebles allow me to "dig in" without compromising tone and balance. 3rd (G) string is the best "crossover" between bass and treble I've ever played.

These strings are VERY hard on....

These strings are VERY hard on the L.H. fingertips and even on the R.H. fingers. They are extremely durable and this includes the 4th string too - they DO last. The sound coming from these strings was very good. I normally play high tension but these strings were absolutely painful. I'll try the medium tension next time around.
