Savarez Cantiga 516J High Tension 6th E .0440, Single String

I use this string along with "normal" tension 4th and 5th strings from another maker. The extra tension of the "hard" 6th gives me a strong bass response, but the tone of this Cantiga 6th is brighter/clearer than others I've tried, even when playing in mid-to-upper frets . It also tends not to buzz at a comfortable action, presumably due to the tension and string flexibility (i.e., it's not overly flexible/floppy in its loose state). It also sounds very good tuned down to D.
