Thomastik-Infeld John Pearse PJ Folk Nylon Flat Wound, Treble Set

I've been using these for many, many years now and have only broken 1 string years ago. I use them on my Godin Nylon Multiac, my NTX Yamaha, and my wife's Godin Multiac Classical guitar. They sound great and you can forget about the 3rd string rubber band on the normal nylon sets. I've used carbon trebles by for some reason they POP! and break on their own accord whilst simply sitting in their stands. I bought a swag of treble sets when our dollar was strong against the US Dollar. The Thomastick strings are certainly right up there among the best strings made, BUT their price in AU dollars is quite high. Never mind. In my opinion these are the best trebles ever made.

I'll give 5 stars as the rating, because that's what I hoped for, based upon the reviews I read before ordering these strings -- and because the vendor, Strings by Mail, was so helpful and prompt in providing a refund. I've owned 6 string guitars for at least 60 years, and I've purchased many sets of strings. Never had I encountered "Treble Sets" of strings. That means three (3) strings, not 6 strings. I returned them. I'll reorder. Please learn from my mistake.

Good tone on the trebles. Brighter than a typical nylon
string. If you have nails, there is a slight abrasive sound against the strings.
