D'Addario Classic Rectified Nylon MT Guitar Strings RNM-3T, Treble Set

Purchased to find a suitable Nylon Treble set to accompany the voice as well as to play folkloric musics the D'Addario Classic Rectified Nylon MT Guitar Strings RNM-3T, Treble Set certainly works well with responsive topped classical guitars in order to achieve that end. If your guitar tends to skew towards the bass end of the tonal spectrum you may not like these strings as they emphasize the more percussive aspect of the guitar. Then again if you are staying strictly with vocal accompanist duties (especially playing mostly rhythm) you may find the D'Addario Classic Rectified Nylon HT Guitar Strings RNM-3T, Treble Set a better fit.
The previous trebles on the guitar were a Fluorocarbon formulation which worked very well (especially implying the singing sustain of a steel string) but a current project needed a more "vintage" response i.e. softer, percussive and with that certain finger whisper that rectified nylon trebles impart.
Mixed with Augustine Black basses one can achieve that late 1950's early 1960's response.
