The best 3rd string for classical guitar much better than carbons

Since I discovered it years ago, I have always preferred the composite G. As a flamenco musician/vocalist, I enjoy the harness of the composite and the way it projects over my voice (which is not an easy task). These NT tension nylons sound good and have an adequate sustain… but I buy this set for the composite G rather than buy the composite G separately.

I started using composite G's (3rd string) about twelve years ago and just love the almost gut feel to them... and D'Addario does as good a job as any at a great price.

Excellent tone, balance and durability

I have a Hofner HZ27, classic guitar. I love playing it but could not find a low E string that would sustain a G note until I tried the Galli’s. But I did not like the sound of the Galli treble strings. So I mixed the D’Adario trebles with the Galli basses and found this to be the perfect set up for my guitar.
