Fremont STR-FH Black Fluorocarbon for Sopr and Concert Ukulele, Hard

I really wanted to like these strings! They sound great but they are much skinnier than Nylons, I have big hands and they were just too small for me! I do use the Freemont blackline low G bc it's unwound on all my ukeleles. I went with daddario black Nylons instead but the Freemonts are great strings!!

I love the warm sound of the fluorocarbon strings as opposed to the tinnier sound of traditional nylon strings. The black color works well with the color of my sound board, too.

I got a ukulele stick travel/practice extremely short scale ukulele. It came with Aquila strings which broke. I switched strings to these Fremont Black Line Hard strings. The tone is much improved. I recommend these strings for Soprano and shorter applications and want to try them on one of my Tenors.

I have a few spare Ranch and Aklot ukuleles for my elementary age students. The sounds especially on fingerpicking are way clearer and brighter than original strings. I actually put them on my own all acacia ukulele, too. Love them.
