Martin Ukulele Strings M600 Clear Fluorocarbon for Soprano/Concert

The Martin 600's and the Worth low G make a nice combination on my Martin OXK soprano.
I recently put a low G on my tenor. I was curious to

Put these strings on a vintage soprano. Very bright sounding and much thinner than nylgut. Wish I would’ve have switched long ago. My only complaint is that small fibers come off the strings. Others have noted this too.

I use different strings for different ukuleles, but I always have these on hand. They sound great,feel good to play, and the price is more than reasonable.

If you have any finger, hand or wrist issues, these strings will really help you. And they have a delightful tone. Even though these fluorocarbon strings are thinner than a lot of traditional ukulele string sets, they sound better than many of them, to my ears. Martin also offers these strings for tenor ukuleles in their M620 set.

These strings were perfect for my Kala soprano uke as a replacement for the factory strings that came with it when I bought it four years ago. My playing style has since evolved and these are bright and crisp without being plinky - just right for fingerstyle or campanella.
