The Best

These strings have the sweetest tone, loudest punch, and best intonation of any string I have tried. Word to the wise: DO NOT install Hannabach Concert/Soprano strings on a Tenor Uke!

Everything as advertised

I used to think that FluoroCarbon strings are more or less the same - some denser, and others lighter. This set of strings proved that I couldn't be more wrong. It makes my uke sound glorious. Try it, and be prepared to be amazed.

I initially tried these on

I initially tried these on a solid Mahogany ukulele and it sounded too warm and deep for my taste. But these will be a good match for wood like spruce, koa and mango and if you like a more balanced tone.

Wonderful, especailly in the concert scale

These are thin, slick, highish tension strings. They work wonderfully on all three concerts I've tried them on,
a Ko'Olau, Kanilea and Millar. Whether alone as a high-g set, or with a gold low-G. Uke Logic, LaBella, Fremont-take your pick- they make a very visually pretty and sweet sounding set. The concert size makes the inherent high tension of the strings more comfortable than they are on a tenor. The A string in particular brightens up those ukes that need it. The top two strings paired with Thomastik-Infeld CF-27s and CF30s are an uber-set for concerts- pricey, but oh my! The sound, feel, and balance across the set are worth trying at least once.
