Consistency and Mellowness of Knobloch Actives

I tried the Medium tension and Augustine Regals against my standard Addarios EJ45s. The Knobloch came out on top with my Famenca Negra. They were a little more mellow for an already bright guitar. But I moved to the Hight Tension when I formed the opinion that the D string was a little louder than the rest. The High tensions seemed to have corrected that. I'm sticking Knobloch!

Knobloch Strings Nylon

Amazing strings. They also last about twice as long as my regular sets. I also find that my nails don’t wear as much with them.
