Good but . . .

These strings have a good sound. Softer and woody sound. After playing for more than 15 hours, the strings continue to stretch almost as if they were in guitar after 2 hours of playing. Never seem to settle.
I did not like their cheap packaging - bundled togher and the strings were not labeled. . . . and they are expensive.

I had high hopes….

I kept them on the guitar for less than two weeks. All I can say is I didn’t like the sound… dull, almost muted. Too expensive to sound like that. The high e string was especially bad. Little to no sustain.

Beautiful, Dark, Warm, Earthy!

These unique strings have a beautiful, dark, warm, earthy quality, yet without being muddy. They are not "punchy," but retain a suave clarity. The Erithacus line is a welcome break from my typical pursuit of volume, projection, and delusional demand that my strings respond almost predictively before I even touch them. I love that I get to "pull" the sound from my guitar with these strings. It's not that they are difficult to play and don't respond well, but there is more of a "human touch" connection to the instrument through these strings than with others I've used (and I've played them all). The result is very rewarding.

Great strings. Made my guitar

Great strings. Made my guitar sound more resonant and with great tone. Better than buying a new guitar. Also they seem to last longer than the average strings .
Very satisfied !!! Will buy again
