D'Addario Hybrid Carbon G, Clear Nylon B and E HT Guitar Treble Set

I like these High Tension Trebles. The Carbon G sounds so much better. Also it really stays in tune longer than all the other strings. I doubt if I will ever go back. I was using Hanabach trebles previously. I like this set better because of the carbon G. And the price isn't bad. My bass set is LaBella 500 P High tension silver recording strings. They seem to go well together.

The E & B strings are warm and espressive with good volume. The carbon G does its job to produce a clearer tone. . . for some reason it did not sound as well open but when fretted sounded pretty good.

Purhcased these along with the EJ46 basses half-set for my Picado 60T63 classical guitar. The combination is ideal with respect to tension, tone, and balance. D'Addario should add this hybrid combination as a standard 6-string set.

Nylon strings always take a bit to break in, these included. But a good mix of materials, and fine strings for ensemble playing.

I really like this treble set. The carbon G makes a smooth transition from the bright basses to the nylon trebles. To me, the carbon G bridges the sound quality differences between the wound basses and mono filament nylon B and E, which I prefer the sound quality of, and feel, more than a full carbon treble set. The carbon G bridge between the two, is just right, in my opinion.
