Oasis Case Humidifier

Great recommendation. Great product. This is an industry standard

I’ve been using oasis sound hole humidifiers for years. Great idea, great execution. They always work, no fuss or surprises.
I did have a special need for a humidifier that addresses the air barrier where the neck support in the case traps the humid air on the guitar body side.
I now use a guitar case humidifier on the head side too.
My baroque lute presented special challenges because there is no open sound hole.
The mandolin case humidifier is shorter than the guitar case humidifier. I just installed one of them with the supplied clip where the neck support meets the string box, and a second one between the two peg boxes (swan neck)
They fit perfectly and I’m confident that they’ll keep my lute as happy as my guitars have been in the winter months.

It is holding the humidity level =/- one degree @52% but I believe that my humidistat reads several degrees high. I do not miss the yo yo humidity levels that I had with the sponge based system! I placed it in the top portion of the case (stored nearly vertical) as humidity travels downward and hopefully travels along the strings and neck to the body.

The only downside is that it is almost impossible to mount in the lower section of the case due to padding around the body of the guitar. I wanted to place other of the 2 humidifiers I bought near the body/neck joint. For this reason only, I am not giving it a 5. A velcro mount system would be a nice option and allow mounting in the area I described. "Can you hear me now" Oasis?
