Savarez Alliance KF81A - .81 mm / 0.0319 inches, Single String

I actually use this string tuned to E3 on a 25.5" scale open back banjo. I find it is bright without being too thin and the sustain is superb. In general, I've dug these strings though the thinner ones (.55 mm and under) start to sound...well...thin. Nonetheless they ring all the way up the neck, unlike the nylons I've tried.
