Great For Taming a Flabby 3rd String
Review by Charles S. on 27 Jul 2020 review stating Great For Taming a Flabby 3rd String Virtually every classical nylon string guitar has a 3rd string that's a little less lively and a little less loud than the others. I got a tip from a classical player a few years ago that using a composite string for just the 3rd string would alleviate this problem, and it does. I don't like entire sets of composite strings because they don't have the sweetness in tone that non-composite sets have, but if you just change the 3rd string, it makes everything sound even and perfect. Manufacturers should consider coming out with a complete set that includes a composite 3rd.
