Savarez Corum 504J - 4th string (D) high tension .0294

I used to buy Savarez Corum Alliance 500AJ High Tension Classical Guitar Strings as a set of 6 strings on Amazon for $19. 95. Amazon does not sell those strings separately.
Fortunately "Strings by Mail" company does it,
and the price is right. I bought three strings
"Savarez Corum 504J - 4th string (d)" and they look exactly the same as the strings from the Amazon set.

Quick and precise! I appreciate it. These strings, it seems, are impacted by tariffs too. Whether that's a function of importing the finished product or raw materials I don't know. I'm buying them no matter what . . . and strings by mail is a reliable source.

Flamenco employs a lot of force applied to the strings in rapid succession.

So the strings have to:

a) fight back with equal force
b) not displace very far, and
c) snap back into resting position
very quickly

Which means “high tension” strings.

These Savarez strings are well up
to the task and sound great on my 2 Cordoba Flamenco guitars!

Because of the force and tension, involved, strings break a lot.

I have found that the “D” string breaks much more often than the rest, so it was nice to find a source for single “D” strings at a good price at Strings By Mail.

When I order a full set of Savarez strings, I order a 6-pack of “D” strings as well.
