The the2Mic-EndPin stays true to the original the2Mic design. It features a battery-operated "Plug 'n Play" format, offering simplicity, affordability, and reliability. It mounts via a 12mm diameter hole (1/2” ) in the tailblock of the guitar. All of the remaining components are suspended inside the guitar. The mic on the long gooseneck is usually located near the soundhole, with the mic pointing back towards the interior of the guitar. The mic on the short gooseneck is usually located in the center of the guitar body, and points towards the soundboard at a slight angle. Either mic can be easily adjusted to different locations. The 2 AA batteries only need to be changed once every two years, done most easily while the strings are being changed. The output jack acts a a switch to turn the batteries on & off
