Woodside Guitars HLK-2 Guitar Support Lift Kit

This accessory will be needed by 90% of the people who use the woodside. The original pilalr is just too short to offer any meaningful elevation sadly. Shame that it didn't come included.

I have been using the Woodside HLK-2 Guiitar Lift Kit for about two months. For me it was a good choice. I have used the Dynarette lift for years and decided to get something that might work better for me.

My guitar has French polish so I was hesitant to get a lift that uses suction cups. I am not sure how the suction cups might work with my finish. They might work just fine but I decided not to

I got the Woodside and so far it has exceeded my expectations. It took me a few days to fine tune it for how I wanted to hold the guitar but now I’ve got it just the way I wanted it.

The lift holds my guitar securely and does not appear to harm the guitar finish at all. I can highly recommend it.

And as usual, Strings by Mail delivered it quickly.

This out the guitar in a much more comfortable position easing some stress on my back. I wish the taller parts were an option when ordering the guitar support. I have the shorter parts stored in a drawer never to be used again.

Works great

This kit will add an additional 120mm of lift to the Woodside Guitars GS3 Guitar Support. I wanted to try it to see if the additional lift improved my playing position. I found out quickly that the GS3 as it is sold, with its 79-113mm lift was more than adequate for my needs. But just in case, I do have the Lift Kit, should those needs change.

Modifying the GS3 with the Lift Kit is very straightforward. The instructions were clear. And transitioning back to the stock configuration was easy as well.
