Dogal Venetian Classical Guitar Strings NR88 Soft Tension

I use these on a reproduction of a 19th century guitar tuned A=415. They work beautifully and are surprisingly loud.

I have been trying different strings since I acquired my Kenny Hill Signature double-top guitar about a year ago. Double-top guitars can by loud, sometimes too much so.

I have found the Dogal Venetian Soft Tension strings to be ideal. They bring out a depth of sound from the double-top Signature, both in the basses and the trebles, with just the right amount of sustain to create beautiful notes and melodies. I am able to work with the Signature double-top to bring out and emphasize both the quiet passages and louder passages of music with greater control.

I highly recommend the strings. I have tried both the Dogal Venetians and the Dogal Diamante strings in different tensions on my Signature. For me, Dogal Venetian Soft Tension work the best on this guitar.

These are very sweet and warm sounding on my Enrico Bottelli. They compliment the beautiful sound of this instrument, giving the perfect balance of tone and sustain.
I will definitely use them on this Guitar again!

These strings simply aren't lively enough and the 3rd string was very tubby and dead. I switched it to a Knoblock carbon and it was a lot better. I just find that the Diamante are a much more singable, richer sound than the Venetian.

The trebles are not rectified and have a kind of modern taste.
They look or sound like Augustine Imperial.

The basses are special. They produce very slow and mellow tone.

The tension is good for romantic guitars.
