Knobloch Erithacus EDB 33.0 Bio-Nylon Low Tension, Full Set

I'll buy these again, they work great on my Cordoba 55RCE. These don't have that floppy feel or lack of treble that other low tension strings have. Who knows how they'll work on your guitar, but I'd recommend trying them anyway.

On a Devoe blanca the bass are warm, deep and excellent, however the bio-nylon trebles are cold and plasticky. No nuance or color. Texture on fingers similar to rectified. QZ or SN trebles are better. Even warmer are RC Flamenco Clear or Titanium Trebles with Erithacus bass. Biodegradable trebles seem to be a gimmicky marketing choice in what is described as a "warm sounding" set. Tension is equivalent to other brands Medium. If you're looking for true low tension try Solera Alma.

I bought these low tension strings to give my left hand break while working on a new piece with numerous bar chords. Much to my pleasant surprise, my guitar (a double top/Nomex) sounded much fuller with more sustain. This is on a 640 scale instrument. These strings are 69 lbs. on a 650 scale guitar so these strings are less on my 640 guitar. You would think that there would be more buzzes but this hasn't been the case. These strings bloom as opposed to a hard attack that comes with higher tension strings.
If you're someone with smaller hands, or recovering from a hand strain or working on challenging fretboard work or you're an older player that wants to practice longer without fatigue (this applies to younger players too), check these strings out. These are the only strings I use now. So much easier on the left hand with the added bonus of improved sonics.

These strings are the best! Especially the trebles, that give a wonderfully responsive singing tone. Am still trying to work out which tension I prefer. Maybe a mixed set with higher tension wound strings.
