I have used Thomastik-Infild CF128 for several years and it is so good, durable, soft and I like the gentle sound. I recomend!

Unique

A well-designed, well-executed set of strings. The sound is a marriage of nylon and steel-- it's hard to tell exactly what kind of guitar you're listening to. The treble strings are particularly noteworthy-- rich in harmonics, but less responsive to attack variations and vibrato than nylon strings. And as others have noted, the sound (and feel) are very well matched across the set. I like them, mostly for jazz-- but love 'em or hate 'em, there's no denying that they breathe new, innovative life into the world of classical guitar strings.

Numerous problems with these strings.

They are very stiff, hard to put on, impossible to use with string beads. The tone is somewhat metallic but not bad. The volume is moderate. My normally smooth Sloane tuners click and skip with these on. They do keep in tune and intonate well, but are very strange for all the above reasons. Not worth the money IMHO

Q: I have a few questions. Are these technically steel strings? Also the bass material is listed as flatwound, are the basses chrome? Also what kind of treble mixed material is it?

I'm specifically looking for strings that have great intonation on Maj7th and Min9th intervals kind of like the Daddario Chromes on my archtop, but instead to put on my flamenco. I will primarily be playing Latin Jazz, Flamenco and accompanying voice so I definitely am in search of strings that have good intonation on more harsh clustering harmonies.
