Knobloch Actives ADN 33.5 Nylon MT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set

I wanted to like these, but on my guitar, a Kremona Solea, the 3rd string is lifeless and doesn't sound like it belongs in the same set of strings. It doesn't fit in with the 4th wound string, or the plain 2nd string. The wound strings are dynamic, almost like electric guitar strings. After 2 weeks, I can not get the 2nd and 3rd string to intonate, so playing chords or octaves is deterring me from playing this guitar. The 2nd string is sweet sounding and the 1st string is as well, but loud. So maybe these strings aren't for my guitar.

These are them!. . . the strings that sound best on my Cordoba Hauser. Because they're nylon, they're not too bright, and, after they break in, they provide excellent tone and projection with a nice, round treble sound. Thanks, Strings By Mail. You guys are #1 in my book!

I’ve recently switched over from Savarez Corum to these, and my Guitar is happy. They wouldn’t work on every guitar, but they’ve brought out a nice warm warmth in the higher end of mine. Highly recommended!

The info on the package said 48-72 hours to “settle” and I would say that’s exactly right. They sound fine but maybe a little thin. I’m still looking for a warmer and a fatter-sounding string, if those terms mean anything. I’m having a good time working my way through the SBM catalog.

Very high quality strings. Great tone on both the trebles and basses, pairs well with cedar.
