Knobloch Actives CX Carbon SHT Classical Guitar Strings ADC 36.0 Full Set

I have a Taylor 214 nylon, and have yet to try a set of strings I really like. I like the high tension feel on that guitar, and these really fit the bill. They have a nice sound and project well, but mostly they feel right to me.

You can tell these are high quality. The feel of the basses is great with a nice clear sound. The carbons are very high tension but would slip on the high b and e strings on my 664 scale guitar. Just a heads up. Still a great set of strings

Knobloch carbons extra high tension gives me the clarity I want in a string. Their basses are nice and ringy as well. That’s always what I’m looking for. Not too concerned with a warm string which they are but thankfully not overly where it can be dull. Besides I put that in my hands when need be. Ringing basses crystal clear trebles. That’s what I want and that’s what Knobloch carbons gives. Love it.

They went on and sounded lovely, bright, and warm, on my Southwell A Series. About a month of about 3 hours a day on that guitar and they're a bit tired. Perhaps I shouldn’t expect more. I’m not disappointed though, at over $20 a set I had hoped they might last another month. I often get a very capable 2+ months out of my my Hannabach Goldin sets, albeit, which are quite pricey at $30/set, which these days are my favorites on the Southwell, as well as my Savarez Cantiga Premium HT sets (
