I like the D'Addario non coated strings, the only minus is that they do not last as long as the coated ones, but they are more affordable.

The EJ10's offer a bright vintage tone for under $5 (2021 prices). Since D'Addario pro-rates their strings based on metal content, these are the least expensive of the acoustic string line, but no one would ever assume that after hearing them. If you're on a budget, or performing at live shows and want to keep your playing fresh more often, these are a great option. They're also good for beginners, as their thinner feel enables one to hold down the strings with less effort than on a light or medium set. And they're also ideal for smaller-bodied guitars, since they exert less tension than thicker gauge strings. Overall lifespan would be about four months with moderate play.
