Philippe Bosset Prestige Clear Nylon Classical, Hard Tension PRETF

This was a very interesting set. The low E in particular has a unusually deep profound sound. The trebles are somewhat of a mix between the crystal nylon and the sweeter traditional nylon, they are bright, crisp and
full. Overall sound is lively and dynamic, works great on a Kohno model 50. On another guitar I prefer Daddario as these were too lively, and daddario have a more solid core to them. Tension wise this set is super comfortable but they don't buzz, closer to normal tension in feel. Daddario EJ46 are much higher tension than these. Overall I think they are worth a try, the overall effect is a dynamic and 'silky' sound if that makes sense. Anyways it's a high quality and balanced set.

I added a set of these to my last order to see how they compared to my usual Galli strings. Conclusion: they were outstanding! The tone and balance on my lattice braced Jim Redgate guitar was the best I've experienced in a long time. Good rich bass and bright trebles provided for that balance and work well with my current favourite South American repertoire. I very highly recommend guitarists give these strings a go. I am just in the process of ordering more and will also try the titanium version for comparison purposes.
