Hannabach Custom Made 728 - High Tension Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
A new string – a new package! Hand-made classic-strings for pro players. The strings: E1, H2, G3 trebles –crystal clear and finely calibrated. Newly developed basses: highly resilient plastic fibers wound with hard silver-plated round-section wires. The packaging: Thanks to a newly designed packaging unit you have only one bag to dispose of! Trebles and basses are twisted together into one single unit each. Marking: To improve visibility, one end of alle E1 strings is color-coded. With this series, D4 strings come without losely spun ends.

Great transaction with Strings by Mail!

Strings by Mail has a great selection to browse. They carry my preferred nylon string as niversity guitar faculty must have. The transaction was quick and easy. The product excellent and quickly-delivered. I will be using Strings by Mail again.

Standard clean nylon, tight bass

This is pretty good set of strings that are quite standard, classical. Trebles are crisp, clear with a bit of thickness, but not too stiff. 728 basses are always tight, punchy, quite long lasting. I recommend this set if one likes standard plastic nylon sound. MT could be better.

Great strings for lower action!

Years ago, I asked SBM to recommend a string for best performance with lower action, as I am not a traditional classical player, and they recommend Hannabach 728’s. While the tension is not higher, they are made of a stiffer material. I use the Medium Tension set on my main guitar, but have a couple of other guitars that really need the High Tension set. I’ve tried a few other strings, but always go back to the 728’s.
