Great selection with accurate descriptions

The Galli Genius is surprisingly long lasting. I play around 3 hours a day and the sound quality started dropping off after 3 weeks. The Augustine strings are great as well. I personally think all Augustine strings are a solid choice, where you can’t really go wrong with the sound and you will find your perfect set. The Hannahbach is interesting. The sound didn’t peak and come out after around 3 days of playing, and once it did, it was easily the top contender in this selection. The savarez set has been really following the standard of savarez, which has a steady and strong sound. The Daddario is a solid set for me. I don’t particularly like the sound of them. But I also don’t hate them. That’s the only ok choice here in the set. These strings were played on a double top cedar guitar.

A thoughtful selection. Well worth your time

I have been experimenting a lot with strings lately, so I ordered this sampler. The selection is well thought out and the descriptions of each string set were accurate and helpful. I worked my way through the set, sometimes mixing basses and trebles from different manufacturers. It's an ear-opening experience to hear your instrument with so many different string tones. And there were surprises. One of the sets is name-checked constantly by professionals as excellent - I hated them so much that I took them off the same day. Highly recommend ordering and working your way through as a way to determine what you like and what works on your guitar
