Q: I just had my guitar strung last week with D'Addario Carbon NT Classical guitar strings. I have played them a few times and the strings are still stretching a bit. I was sitting near my guitar and heard a funny sound. The treble E string had snapped. I have been using these strings for years and never had a problem before. The good news is that I have an extra set of trebles. The Guitar shop is going to replace the string tomorrow but don't stock these strings - lucky I had an extra set. The strings have been stored at room temperature so if you have any ideas about why this might have happened I would like to know. Thank you. Elaine Padovani
