Lovely strings.

Lovely strings, I would most likely purchase more. Perhaps the trebles could be a little brighter but really, very nice overall.

guitar students and knobloch strings

The Knobloch classical guitar strings have become very popular, recently, here, in Monterrey, Mexico.
Some of those sets were ordered for my friends and me.

excellent bass strings, unremarkable trebles

the knobloch actives (bass) strings are some of the best on the market - deep bass, rich with pleasant overtones, not very squeaky even when new, comfortable under the hands, and the med-high tension works well for most guitars.

The tension and feel pair well with these QZ trebles, which feel soft under the left hand, but they are still just an average nylon string - chunky, lots of attack & nail noise, and the G string barely responds.

If you like percussive sounds and a different texture but still want clarity, try a rectified string.
If you want a clearer and brighter nylon try labella 2001

Knobloch Actives QZ Nylon MHT Classical Guitar Strings 400ADQ

I like the knoblochs in general because they make quality strings. I'm more inclined to nylon trebles. I find the carbons get a bit to shrilly for my tastes.
