Great strings to keep on standby

I trust the Aquila name and was happy to see they had these strings for a conversion from DGBE to GCEA tuning. I ordered them in addition to a few other sets of the same type of string but different brand names. I put some fancier strings on my baritone banjolele and am keeping the nylguts and some other strings on standby for the next time I need to restring.

Okay, but...

I find that these strings aren't quite perfect for converting your baritone uke to GCEA. The A string is a little tight and is prone to snapping plus gets a ringing sound sometimes. And yes, I tried tuning it an octave lower--it sounds like a stand-up base and the string flops around, so no.
