One of my favorites

I really like the sound of this set on my Kohno guitar. I’m still experimenting, but these really sing in the trebles and the basses are not overpowering, but flow nicely with the trebles.

Stunning 3rd string let down by the others

Love the 3rd string. (Savarez Alliance KF 543R ) Never going back to anything else! Hated the 1st string. Just sounded flat and I didn't like the feel. Tension was too much. I do like the approach of using nylon on the 1st and carbons on 2 & 3 though. I replaced it with a different nylon. La Bella basses are not bad but I prefer Knobloch basses and these don't seem like they're going to last as long as the Knoblochs either.

Nice custom set

Really nice set of strings. Like the transition from wound to carbon to nylon. My personal preference would be slightly thicker high e, but who am I to argue with Andrew York. LaBella MHT basses are great. Have used them before

Andrew York Custom Concoctions Nylon Strings

Andrew York is a true master and these strings a testament to his discerning taste and ear. These strings make my 1970's Hirade Concert Classical Model 8 master arte series guitar sing like a guitar 10 times its value!
