Great strings

I put these on my Martin 00-15M. Evenly balanced. Nice warm tone, easy on the fingers.
The second set I bought is going on my Huss and Dalton Sitka over Mahogany 00-12 fret SP next

Good sound. Easy to play. GHS 350

Have used Silk and Steel strings for quite a while. They are best used for finger picking style. Two other brands that are available at SBM that I like would be D’Addario EJ-40 and Pyramid S&S. Pyramid is a bit on the light side and you may get a buzz on the G-string. I found GHS 345 a bit too light also.

Sounds good and feels great under my fingers

I have been using these for about 6 months. My arthritis had made it difficult to play my guitar. After installing these, I can play my instrument for more than just 10 minutes. It's great.

Sweet tone and excellent playability

I got these because I was experiencing a bit of arthritis and weakness in my hands and was looking for something easier to play than the D’addario phosphor bronzes I was used to. They are indeed easier to play, and allow more expressive nuances. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and sweetness of the tone on my Gibson Hummingbird. They are less punchy than the D’addarios but are great for intricate arrangements and subtle variations of vibrato and volume.
