Cordoba Mini E Tuning Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set

I picked up a mini used and at first used regular high tensions strings tied onto beads. It worked fine, but these are much better. Leave some length on the 3rd string because if you don't have enough wraps on the post it will drop pitch constantly.

Five stars for use with the mini, basically just alabastro strings but designed for the smaller scale.

Consistent tone and feel. Very nice.

These strings work pretty good with 30-ish inch kid size guitars.
The G string might be too fat to loop through the tuning post as directed. I just wrap it back around itself a few times like I would on a regular classical guitar.
I'm not crazy about tying knots in the G, B, and e strings to hold the ball ends. I've had the high e pull into the ball when double overhand knotted as directed and snap right at the ball end. I recomend using a tripple overhand knot. Single overhand knots seem to work fine for the G and B.

I strung my Mini R with the basses from this set along with the Oasis GPX+ Carbon NT Classical Guitar Strings, Treble Set.

The basses, particularly the E, astonish me. That E string is a deep, rich, full bass. The first time I used it, it made me sit up and take notice. The trebles are much easier on my fingertips than the Aquila A tuning set which came on the guitar, and they sound fine to me. The combination of these strings makes the Mini R sound surprisingly large. I'm really glad I tried this combination, thanks to another reviewer.

I'll be ordering the same strings again.
